Steam setup
Where to find your Steam Trade URL
A valid Steam Trade URL is required for secure skin offers. This page explains where to find it, how to verify it, and what usually breaks it.
Where the Trade URL lives
In Steam, go to Inventory, open Trade Offers, and then open the privacy page that controls who can send trade offers.
Your Steam Trade URL appears on that page and includes both a partner number and a token.
Why the URL matters
The Trade URL tells the buyer where to send the offer. Without it, there is no safe way to target the correct inventory from outside your friend list.
That is why platforms ask for the full URL rather than only your nickname or Steam ID.
Common mistakes
Most failed submissions come from copying only part of the URL, using an outdated token, or pasting a Trade URL from another account.
- Do not remove the token parameter
- Regenerate the token if you think it has been exposed
- Paste the exact Steam URL, not a screenshot or profile link
